“Through my art, I express my feelings for the locations I visit and the wonders of nature that I encounter along the way.”
Carol Fox Henrichs is a fine art photographer based in Texas whose work explores the intersection of nature, memory, and transformation. She creates imagery that transcends traditional photography by layering textures and painterly elements over her photographs, producing works that are both contemplative and evocative. Inspired by the resilience of the natural world and the quiet beauty of timeworn objects, her art transforms fleeting moments into visual meditations on impermanence and renewal.

Carol has been drawn to the environment and spirit of the natural world for as long as she can remember. Growing up on Galveston Island, she spent countless hours on beaches, in pastures, and beside bayous, exploring, learning, and developing her early vision for “seeing” nature. That childhood curiosity became the foundation of a lifelong journey. Today, more than half a century later, she continues that quest as a freelance outdoor, nature, and fine art photographer.
